Who we are

Drew Thompson, Entergy New Orleans Manager of Distribution Reliability, has seen firsthand how New Orleans East has changed, and he plans to improve his community’s future through service. Read about how Drew continues to go the extra mile to change the lives of those around him.

“Whose dad made that for y’all?” That’s what a professor asked Renee Fisher and three other classmates after delivering a group presentation on gears during a mechanical engineering class in college. At Dress for Success New Orleans’ annual SUSCO Styled for Success Luncheon, Entergy line workers from the Tulane Avenue and Central Business District stations walked the runway alongside the models. The line workers transformed the signature fundraising luncheon into a vibrant celebration of strength, solidarity and steadfast support of the organization’s mission to empower women in the New Orleans community to achieve economic independence.

Mount Carmel Academy, an all-girls Catholic high school in New Orleans, exemplifies this commitment through its successful participation in the Energy Smart Large Commercial Automated Demand Response Program.
