Residents and businesses not receiving power or gas at this time should call
1-800-ENTERGY to have their service reconnected if their property can safely
take service.
Properties with damage
Customers with property that flooded, or with other damage to their electrical
or gas facilities, must have their homes inspected by a licensed electrician
or licensed plumber and go through the proper City permitting processes before
Entergy New Orleans, Inc. can safely restore service. Please consult the City
of New Orleans Department of Safety and Permits office or www.cityofno.com for
more information.
Lower Ninth Ward
Before you finish rebuilding your home, call 1-800-ENTERGY to schedule gas and
electric service. An appointment will be made to meet with you at the site to
discuss your service needs and establish a service connection date. Failure to
call Entergy New Orleans with advance notice of your move-in date could result
in delayed start of service of up to several weeks.
Lake Catherine
Gas is not available due to extensive damage to the system. Entergy New
Orleans is actively pursuing options for customers in this area. The projected
date of availability is to be determined.
