New Orleans, La. – Entergy New Orleans, Inc. today announced that its customer numbers continue to grow for both its electric and gas businesses.
The current customer count for Entergy New Orleans is approximately 150,000 electric customers and approximately 96,000 gas customers. These new numbers represent the latest update of the company’s customer count since March 2009 in which there were approximately 141,000 electric customers and 92,000 gas customers.

Prior to Hurricane Katrina, Entergy New Orleans electric customers numbered approximately 190,000 and gas customers numbered 147,000.

Entergy New Orleans, Inc. is an electric and gas utility serving Orleans Parish and is a subsidiary of Entergy Corporation. The company provides electricity to approximately 150,000 customers and natural gas to approximately 96,000 customers in Orleans Parish.
